APPLICATION OF VBM AT REALIZATION OF STRATEGY BY THE ENTERPRISES OF RUSSIA AT VARIOUS STAGES OF FORMATION OF THE CONCEPT

The study focuses on the analysis of the implementation of value-based management (VBM) conception in the framework of strategic management at Russian enterprises in the period from 1995 to 2013. It reveals the sequence of VBM implementation phases at enterprises of different types and the need of VBM elements, depending on the implemented strategy and the characteristics of the enterprise. The relevance of research is ensured by constantly increasing importance of strategic management and use of technologies based on values in Russian business practice and the need for theoretical and methodological understanding of this experience.

The purpose of this study is to: (1) the identification of the stages of introduction of VBM into different enterprises in Russia and (2) analysis of strategies,in process of which the value approach was used in the strategic management of companies from Russia.
